Site Visit to Crossrail

Our final site visit was to Crossrail
http://www.crossrail.co.uk

Crossrail is a massive project that will update some existing stations, create new stations, and create a new railway line through London.

Check out the rest of the pictures of the TBMs (Tunnel Boring Machines) in this gallery: http://www.crossrail.co.uk/news/images/tunnelling/

The offices for Crossrail are located in Canary Wharf. We were blown away by the magnificent views out the 28th floor. You could see all of London and even part of the Olympic Park.

Crossrail employees talked to us about their communication efforts and explained the process of creating a brand new railway system through London. When the students were able to ask questions, the Crossrail employees were impressed by the complexity of the questions! Go Pack!
